“The Incredibles 2” is a film that is based on the premise of a father—who happens to be a superhero—adjusting to his role as a stay-at-home dad. While this is still regarded as something of a role reversal, it is something that suits many families.
Father Bob quickly learns that it is a form of heroism to combat day-to-day battles at home with baby Jack who is just on the verge of discovering his own superpowers. When a villain emerges with a plot to destroy everything the heroes hold dear, it’s up to the entire family to fight off the evil-doer’s scheme.
The film has received rave reviews from critics for its comedy, heart, and realistic portrayal of a loving, albeit superhero-ly unconventional, family. The film is especially incredible when viewed in IMAX theaters which offers superb quality and sound.
