The caretaker

My son is unwell so I ask him to avoid traveling far to our native place, where the entire extended family is out enjoying and celebrating a festival in our temple.
Here’s how the conversation btwn me and my son unfolds:

Me: “Vishnu, you are unwell. Don’t travel so far. If your stomach pain worsens, there are no doctors to take care of you there”

Vishnu’s reply: “Mother, if there is no doctor in our native don’t worry; the God in our temple will take care of me!”

I obviously remained zip lipped.
