Kids never fail to surprise us! Just when we think we are on track with their speed of thought, they throw you off-track.
Here’s one of those moments: My 4-year old daughter Ameya has a huge fascination for fairy tales. So much so, that she came up with her own idea of a fantasy bed this evening. She goes, “ Amma, let’s make a huge flower, with the bed in the middle. When I get on the bed, we can use a switch on the outside to close the petals and I can sleep inside”. I liked the way she summed it up and asked her,” Can I also use the bed?”…She says,” Um….actually, we’ll need to make another one your size…this one is only for people of my size”.
