It was a frenzied evening and it was not until I finally closed the door on the way out that I realized that I and the children had been locked out of our house. I was rummaging though my bag (read rucksack) in the hope that I might have thrown them in sometime and they are hiding somewhere.
Ameya watched me quiety though all my hurried and worried efforts and finally when she could take it no longer- she consoled me with this- “Amma, don’t worry- I have an idea. We can shift our house!”.
