We are expecting our second baby now and ever since we told Shreyas that he is going to be a big brother, he is very excited about it. He has umpteen numbers of questions ranging from how the baby came inside my tummy, what the baby does if it gets bored inside the tummy to how the baby will ultimately come out. He keeps measuring my tummy to see if its big enough (because i told him that baby has to grow first to come out and my tummy growing big is evidence for the baby growing well).
One day, he told me he wanted to feel the baby moving and kept his hands on my tummy, he felt my belly button and suddenly his face lit up, he said, “amma, you know what, I found out what the baby does if it grows bored inside the tummy, it looks out through this window, your tummy is its house and this (belly button) is its window”.
How cute is that?
